Open Gym

This class is designed to practice movements which require more work, such as gymnastic skills, plyometrics or rowing. It will not be used to add more volume to the program as it will usually conflict at some stage during the week.

Please see a coach and let them know what you would like to practice and they will help you out and put you on the right path!

Mainstream

This is our main workout class incorporating high intensity, constantly varied, functional movements!

This class is fully scalable, so regardless of whether you have been with us for 5 years or 5 minutes we can and will, work with you to achieve your goals whatever they may be!

Beginners

The course will consist of 6 one hour sessions where you will be introduced to CrossFit through lectures, movements, and workouts (WODs). Once completed, you are able to move into the Mainstream Class!

Competition

A chance for serious athletes to test themselves against other members at a similar level. Whilst not suitable for all members, these classes offer people wishing to take their Crossfit training to the next level the chance to workout with coaches, elite athletes and serious contenders for the CrossFit games and Regional Competitions.

Due to the nature of these classes, approval must be given before you can join in.

Kids

CrossFit Kids is not simply a scaled down version of CrossFit, it is entirely absolutely CrossFit geared and designed for a special population and the specific developmental needs of that population(neurological, cognitive, motor).

CrossFit Kids is the principal strength and conditioning program for many young athletes and the primary P.E. program for many home schools, charter schools. It is used by athletic teams, martial arts schools and many parents that want their kids to grow up healthy, strong and have a lifelong love of working out thus avoiding the common problems associated with childhood inactivity and obesity.

Gymnastics

Many athletes struggle with body-weight or gymnastics movements. Our goal is to provide you with information on body movement and the gymnastic skill sets you can use to get ahead and improve your training to put you on the path to muscle-ups, handstand push-ups—and beyond.

Generally, most beginners desperately lack the ability to perform pull-ups, push-ups and dips, while more advanced athletes aspire to perform dead-hang muscle-ups, levers, free-standing handstand push-ups and planches.

CrossFit Fears?

“I can’t do that!” “You guys are crazy!” “CrossFit is too intense!” We get it… CrossFit looks intimidating from the outside and usually sends people running. We are afraid of what we don’t know. It’s human nature to fear the unknown. But, think about any moment in time where you accomplished a task that made you feel great – was it challenging? Did it pull you out of your comfort zone and push you to be better? Sure it did! Why? Because most things that are worth doing require a level of virtuosity, energy, and commitment.

 

How to get started!

1. Come into one of our Beginner Sessions which are on at 7pm on Mondays and Wednesdays or Saturdays at 6am – there is no need to book! Have your towel, water and something comfortable to wear and a great attitude!

2. Fill in the required paperwork and speak to one of our coaches who will run through the processes and procedures that happen in a normal session.

3. Buy a 6 session pass for $60 (payment upfront required). This will be checked off each time you come in. Once the 6 sessions are complete, you will be required to have a 1-1 chat with one of our coaches in regards to joining the Mainstream classes.

4. Throughout the 6 sessions, the majority of Crossfit movements will be covered as well as other information such as Nutrition, Recovery, Rest, Intensity, Injury Prevention, Scalability, Mobility, Specialty Classes and Competitions!

 

Fast Track your beginner sessions!

A new option to get started quicker is doing 1-1 sessions with one of our trainers which will cost $60 per session. You are required to attend all 3 sessions which will cover all the information we cover in the 6 Beginner classes. These classes will be run outside of normal class times.
